Release Overview​

RCOM Gateway 3.8.2 is a hotfix release that improves Event Rule validation, UHFTagRead context handling, and scheduler log-deletion processing.

Improvements​

  • [Event Rules - Object Change Trigger]: Added runtime validation to confirm that the Group configured in an Object Change Event Rule still exists before it is processed. The Group field was introduced in version 3.8.1.

Bug Fixes​

  • [Event Rules - UHFTagRead]: Fixed UHFTagRead Event Rules configured with RUN_ON_EMPTY so that detected tags are retained in the workflow context when the incoming tag list is not empty.
  • [Scheduler - Log Deletion]: Fixed log deletion processing to handle large backlogs in bounded batches, allowing pending deletion requests to catch up.
